Vision
To promote and cultivate the love of Chinese language and culture
Mission
- To create an environment where students experience the joy of learning the Chinese Language;
- To help students master the Chinese language so that they can communicate effectively and confidently in the language;
- To encourage self-directed learning; and
- To enable students to acquire 21st century competencies.
Programme
Through the use of appropriate teaching pedagogies and differentiated programmes, students are able to learn the Chinese language in an authentic and conducive environment. The department also aims to inspire students to learn, appreciate and use the Chinese language effectively.
